It was our first wedding of the year with no rain, which meant it was hot, but also breathtakingly gorgeous as we pulled into Braeloch on Glenburn Farms. There were rolling mountains as far as you could see, and the skyline of Roanoke was peeking through the trees. The reception hall decor was being finalized and it was amazing. Between Happily Ever After Rentals and Blue Ridge Catering providing the backdrop and Creative Occasions adding his impeccable taste to polish the look, the bride and groom‘s vision came to life. Andrew and his employees from Genetic Productions had spent the weekend hanging Edison bulbs and lighting the venue so everything came together just right and we knew it was going to be the setting for an epic wedding – and we were right.

There is a level of joy that happens when 8 girls get to spend the morning being pampered, drinking champagne, and preparing to celebrate two people they love, and this day was no different as we entered the bridal suite. I love hanging out with bridesmaids among the squeals of joy, the occasional tears, and the multiple selfies! Lauren and her girls were having an amazing morning rivaled only by the guys in the cabin across the way. This whole day through the sparkler exit was so much fun! There was laughter and celebration everywhere you looked and sweet tears as Lauren opened a gift from Andrew and then a few more as she shared a first look with her dad.

After the ceremony and some seriously gorgeous portraits (with their faithful companion Auggie never leaving their side!), we headed into the reception. Andrew and Lauren wanted to keep things a little different and left the night unstructured – food was served throughout, the dance floor was open right away, and the patio was full of tables, cocktails, and lawn games letting guests enjoy the night however they wanted and ensuring everyone had an amazing time.

Andrew and Lauren, we absolutely loved your wedding! Scott and I could not stop talking about what a fun and amazing day you had – and all the credit goes to you. The love and joy you radiate rippled throughout the day and to your guests. We loved witnessing the details you had so immaculately planned come to light and the party on the dance floor never stop.
