It’s here! The new site launched today!
This project has been in the works for more than a year, but in the last few months it has become more than I thought it could ever be. But as of today Carri Lyn Photography is becoming Edmiston Photography!
So let me back up, why the update? I have been working and talking with this amazing designer (and friend!) for the last year, but more intensely all through the fall and winter. I knew I wanted the website to get an update. This last year has been HUGE for my business. There have been so many changes, I’ve learned so much, and I’ve really started to find my style – how I wanted to shoot and edit. It’s been a long process but I knew the changes were necessary and they were for the better.
At the same time as all of these improvements were happening in my business, I got engaged :) So of course the conversations happened as to what the business would mean for us as a couple and how it would become a part of our lives. And so slowly, Scott started to become a part of it. He second shot with me all last fall, is learning editing, and of course helps keep my life organized, and so as of today Scott is now officially a part of the team! When you are married not much is separate anyway but we are excited to make it official and now be able to serve you as a two shooter team. Plus, working together is so much fun – and of course is how we met :)
So, even though the name has changed the business hasn’t. We are still just as excited to serve you and be a part of your wedding day – from tying bows, to holding flowers, to shooting the memories you will share with your kids and grandkids.
Thank you for letting us continue to be a part of your lives! And please, stick around and look through the updated site – and let me know which part is your favorite :)
A huge thank you to the people I couldn’t have done this with out:
Alicia – thank you for the constant support, letting me bounce ideas off of you, sharing knowledge, pushing me to be better, and helping me figure out my style.
All the educators who share their knowledge – I’ve taken over 7 classes this year and they have all contributed to who I’ve become today!
Scott – this wouldn’t be possible with out you. The late nights, the frustrations, the times I didn’t clean and worked instead, the dreaming, the hoping, planning, and the moments of crazy – you supported me through them all and helped make this dream of my become a reality. You make me a better person and see the world in ways I don’t. Here’s to working beside you for years to come!
