It was a beautiful but cold day in December when we arrived at the church in Christiansburg. The Christmas tree was lit and the sanctuary covered in Pointsetta. With all the red, gold, and twinkly lights you couldn’t help but be transported into the Christmas season.

As Whitney was being laced into her gorgeous dress, her mom and bridesmaids were full of joy and she told me that she couldn’t wait to marry Gabe. Gabe stood proudly in his dress blues as he watched his bride walk toward him, and her dad fought back tears as he gave her away. After lighting the unity candle their moms hugged each other knowing that their family was growing that day. And surrounded by family, they said their vows and started their journey together as husband and wife.
