Leading up to their big day was all excitement and only a little worry as the chance of rain increased. But Sara stocked up on umbrellas that we thankfully didn’t need and there was only a little mist in the air as we headed out for portraits.
It’s always a fun affair when Hokies come back to Virginia to get married. Tyler and Sara both went to Virginia Tech and incorporated so many fun details from their alma mater into their day. Now that they’ve graduated, they are both working for Ford and had a vintage Mustang show up during portraits. We had so much fun getting some shots with this classic car, and of course, took a break for Tyler to take it for a spin!
Surrounded by their family and friends they threw an amazing reception! Sara and her dad interrupted their dance by breaking into the B52’s “Rock Lobster” and her mom surprised everyone with a “Mama Mia” rendition. Needless to say, the dance floor stayed full all night!
Tyler and Sara, we loved being a part of your wedding day! Your family is so sweet and we hope you felt celebrated. Here are a few of our favorite highlights to enjoy as you wing your way to Jamaica!
