The hotel room was bustling with women when I arrived that morning, girlfriends, friends, family friends, moms and more. Makeup being done, dresses being steamed, and everyone ensuring that Sarah was taken care of. It was a group of women so caring and thoughtful that they kept asking me if I had everything I needed all while prepping Sarah for her big day. And Sarah was the most relaxed bride I’ve seen, just enjoying the day and taking it all in.
We snapped the last portrait, closed the door to the limo and that’s when the skies opened up in a downpour. On a day that had a 90% chance of rain all day, it only stormed during the short 20 minute ride from the church to the reception. And by the time the bride and groom arrived the sun was shining again. It was perfect. And that about sums up Chris and Sarah’s wedding day, perfection.
Everyone there was overjoyed for the happy couple and joining in the party. Toasts reiterated how perfect they are together and through laughter and dancing it was obvious that Chris and Sarah are well loved. The whole day was a fun celebration that reflected the couple. We were welcomed in to the celebration and it felt like, into their families.
Chris and Sarah, we absolutely loved being a part of your wedding day. You are an amazing couple and so welcoming. We are happy the rain cooperated and stayed away. But most of all we are so thankful to have met you and your families. We will be raving about your wedding day for years to come! We hope you are having a perfect tropical honeymoon. Here are some favorites to enjoy from your beach chairs :)
