It’s August 1st! We are soaking up this last month of summer and I can’t wait. This month includes our one year anniversary (!), a camping trip, our last few Saturdays off before the craziness of September (aka some extra pool time), and a super fun wedding for these two:

I love fall and all it brings but I’m not ready to let summer go quite yet and will be enjoying all these long humid nights before it goes. My sister and I took full advantage of one of them this weekend by sitting on the patio of 622 and having nothing but cheese for dinner, with a crisp white of course. I could eat on a patio every night and never get tired of those last moments of humidity over a good meal with better conversation. All this classiness was to compensate for how we spent our afternoon watching the new Ghost Busters. Overall it was a good Saturday spent with my sisters – despite the disappointing script and the very unhealthy meal choices :)

If you follow me on Snapchat you already know that the much-anticipated 8th Harry Potter book finally arrived this morning! They shipped it on Friday but since UPS doesn’t deliver on Sundays I had to wait a full 24 hours from its release for it to arrive…the only problem with pre-ordering! I can’t wait to start reading it…but first work and some Monday Musings for you!

• I took this quiz last week and apparently I’m 41. Or just refined in my tastes…
• I realized on Saturday that last week I ate Mexican food in some form every day last week except one. Winning? Or sad? Either way, we are going to a Mexican for dinner tonight and I’m not mad about it. The best meal of the week though was when Scott made copy-cat Chipotle and it was better than the real thing. And now we may never pay for Chipotle again! It’s a plus having a trained chef for a husband :)

• I think this anniversary shoot to celebrate 63 years is the most adorable thing ever – please someone hire me to shoot one for you!
