Well…we made it. The busiest month ever is over and I am sitting on the beach. The waves are crashing, the sun is shining, and all the stress of the last month is washing away. Don’t get me wrong – this has been one of the most fun months ever – so many weddings and gorgeous fall shoots to capture. I’ve loved being a part of your weddings, your engagements, a surprise proposal, and a fun bridal shower – but it’s time to unplug and rejuvenate my soul. The ocean always seems to do that, doesn’t it? There’s something about the salt air, the sound of the waves, and the site of my husband fishing that says stop, enjoy, rest. So I am going to be behind a book, feet in the sand, and email off. And I intend to enjoy every minute :)

But because I couldn’t leave you with no posts all week and because they are just the cutest – Michael and Rebecca’s engagement shoot is hitting the blog tomorrow! And I’ll be back after vacation with some fun new shoots and some more from the “Photographer turned Bride” series! For now – enjoy the fall colors and a delicious hot beverage over this sneak peek!
