For those of you who didn’t see, I’ve spent the last week in Vegas celebrating my amazing friend Jes and being a part of her wedding! It was a wonderful trip that after a red eye home I’m still catching up from :) It was my first time in the city though so in addition to the wedding we saw and did a lot! I can’t wait to show you some of the gorgeous pictures we took all around the city but before that, here are some other highlights of the trip!

I think besides the wedding itself a few of my favorite things about the trip were seeing the Bellagio fountains in person and the cirque du soleil show we went to. Besides walking the strip and lots of delicious food this trip was full of catching up, laughing, celebrating Jes and Joe, and then recovering by the pool :)

I have so many thoughts and tips about destination weddings and can’t wait to share more but for now here are some of the non-wedding parts of the week! And don’t miss the video at the end with all the iphone/insta-story highlights!

After the long flight and sleeping in we met up with the bride and maid of honor (her daughter!) to get pampered and ready for Wednesday :)

Then after a huge buffet brunch, we took Tuesday to rest some before heading to Treasure Island to see Mysteré and this was one of my favorite things I’ve ever done. The show was amazing and beautiful and so well done.

Then we walked home so we could see all the highlights on the strip. This is also the day I got more than 15,000 steps. Things in Vegas are much farther away then they look!

It was a great trip and I especially loved the 80+ degree temperatures :) I can’t wait to show you my favorite part though, coming to the blog a little later this week! For now here is a little more of all we did via Insta-stories!
