For some of you, this may be your first Monday Musings post! Welcome! Each Monday we like to take some time to recap the weekend, give you a look at what’s going on behind the scenes, and muse about the random happenings of life here at Edmiston Photography. They are random but always fun :)

We spent this weekend preparing for and participating in the area’s largest and (in our opinion) best wedding show! Angeline of Virginia Bride Magazine does an amazing job organizing this show and we always meet wonderful vendors and couples! Every year it is a success and this year was the busiest one ever. Since we speak to most couples in about 5-minute time slots we are excited to follow up and get to know you all better soon! But thank you to those who came out and stopped by!

And now for some other random musings from the week:

• Getting ready for Sunday required not one but two trips to Target to pick up things I forgot. This also meant finding boots on clearance and running into a former bride and groom! Some of the many reasons I love Target :)
• In between all the show prep we’ve been re-watching old episodes of Arrested Development. I forgot some of the best parts of that show. Anyone else excited for the season 5 reboot?
• It’s January, so like the rest of the world we are trying to be healthier and recover from the holidays but even then it shocked me when I found out what liars muffins are! How can they have more calories than a Big Mac? This caloric math does not make sense in my head.
• And finally, we got our sample album for 2016 to debut yesterday and I am in love. It may be my favorite sample album of all time – though I’m sure I’ll say this next year too :)
