Happy Monday! I can’t believe it is already December – this year has flown by and kept us busy in the best ways possible. We spent Saturday celebrating the sweetest couple as they became husband and wife and we have one more wedding to shoot before we wrap up our year! We have been so lucky with all of the amazing couples we have gotten to work with this year and love every wedding we have been a part of. We are also definitely looking forward to the Christmas season and taking some time off to soak up the season and get ready for 2017.

We put up our tree last week and per tradition, had to run to Walmart mid-decorating to buy more Christmas lights. We do this every year and I don’t know how we keep misplacing strands. I think when we move out of this place we may find an abundance of Christmas lights hiding somewhere :) I have loved having our house full of Christmas and twinkle lights and I love working next to the tree! It makes editing seem more festive :)

Now for some musings on this chilly Monday!

• I have decided Spotify premium is one of the best things ever. Every song you could ever want (minus T. Swift sadly) is right at your fingertips. Whatever you are in the mood for they have. This week I’ve been loving some old school Disney and of course the full Hamilton Mix Tape. Yes, I sing along loudly in the car – especially on the way to my morning spin class to wake me up :)
• I also watched my first Christmas movie this weekend. Scott tried to convince me you need to wait until the week of Christmas to watch them, but I disagree – and hey at least I waited until December :) There are just too many good ones to watch to limit it to just a week of air time!
• If you missed it we were featured twice this past week! Both Rebecca and Michael and Chad and Evie’s wedding were featured on Borrowed and Blue! It was so fun to relive both these beautiful and unique wedding days! If you are looking for some great planning inspiration make sure and visit their site. I love that they show you the color scheme for each wedding they share!
