Hello and happy Monday! A little later musings post coming to you today since this weekend was full, full, full. It started with dinner out on Friday night (p.s. NOT a fan of the food at Whitebarel), then a beautiful spring session on Saturday, and birthday celebrations in North Carolina’s wine country on Sunday. A fun weekend, but just not much down time. 3 of us 4 Behal girls were born each 2 weeks apart so when my birthday happens in March it kind of kicks of a birthday month for us. Jes’ is on Tuesday so we celebrated with dinner at Shelton and a visit back to Jones vonDrehle (aka my favorite winery in North Carolina). Here are a few pics I snapped with the new lens:
The world’s best risotto!
And some other musings from life lately:
- I have now finished 2 rounds of 21 day fix! I only missed a few workouts the whole time and they were the “rest” day ones anyway so I am feeling pretty good. Not quite beach ready, but definitely healthier than I was 6 weeks ago. When you sit at a desk all day the lethargy takes over – so to start my day with a workout has improved my mood and my productivity! I like that it has become a part of my routine too.
- Months and months ago my ever trendy sister sent me an invitation to a new clothing site called ThredUp. Have you heard of this yet? It’s basically an online thrift store! They have tons of like new clothing at really great prices and instead of sorting through racks and racks you just search for exactly what you are looking for. (Hint, hint: maybe something new and fabulous for your engagement session?!). If you are interested in joining click my referral link here and bonus – we both get $10 free to spend! I got a pair of express jeans from there recently that I can’t stop wearing and I only spent $6. Win. Win.
- Also last week they had an ergonomics presentation at Tech and I got to sit in the worlds most comfortable chair. I never knew what I was missing – or how horribly I was sitting. And now I want one.
- They just added all 5 seasons of Rizzoli and Isles to Hulu and can someone tell me if it gets better? The acting/writing in the first couple episodes is rough and Scott hates it. But I’ve heard good things and of course love Kate from NCIS, so want to give it a chance I just don’t know if it’s going to make it or not :) So let me know if it’s worth the watch!
Well that’s all for this Monday. If you missed my first sneak peek of these love birds head on over to Instagram, but here is another one to hold you over until Thursday when they hit the blog!
