This weekend officially informed us that winter has arrived. We can stop pretending that it is just a cold day – I think the cold, dreary, rainy weather is here to stay. Of course coming back from the beach to this didn’t make in any easier. On Sunday evening at my shoot our noses and hands were frozen – but that didn’t take away from some awesome images. I have officially broken out the sweaters and winter gear and am not ready for it. Wasn’t it just summer? :)

The cold weather (and the fact that we are now hosting one of our churches small group and have people in our home every Wednesday night) gave me an excuse to buy a tea kettle and use it frequently. So here are some musings from the weekend over a warm cup of peppermint tea:

*We got our wedding pictures back on Friday and let me just say I’m ecstatic! Cue all the happy tears. I spent most of the day looking through them and sharing them with others. It was so amazing to relive our wedding day – and give me an even greater appreciation that I can do the same thing for you all. To give you memories of your day to look through and cherish forever is an honor. It also made me want to step up my game….like a lot. Let me just say Briana Moore is my hero – her work is Ah-mazing.

*On Saturday I visited a workout class with my friend Niki – and it was no joke. An hour and a half of circuits…and burpees as a WARM UP? Oh man. Needless to say my legs were jello, but it definitely burned some calories :)

*And since I couldn’t move after the class I spent the rest of Saturday catching up on editing! And I am all caught up after the craziness that was October. And having fun delivering galleries today!

*Sunday I learned that there is a HUGE difference (like a 20 min drive) between the Peak of Otter Winery and the Peaks of Otter Lodge. Oops. Thankfully Brittany and Blake were understanding and after a good laugh about it we still had enough light to capture some gorgeous images! From now on I’m going to confirm addresses not just names with you all for our Engagement shoots :)

And I put a sneak peek up last night because I couldn’t help it – but here’s another one for you as well! I mean come on, aren’t the so sweet?
