It rained ALL day. And not just a light drizzle put pouring rain and thunder. Weather Channel said it was supposed to clear up so we decided not to cancel. And I watched the weather like a hawk! At 5 it was still storming like crazy and we were all a little nervous, but as promised, when six o’clock rolled around the clouds parted, the rain stopped, and even some blue sky showed up! We were so happy that we didn’t move this session because everything was dewy and green and Heritage Park did not disappoint for Will and Meghan’s engagement pictures!

We first met Will and Meghan at a wedding last year! Megan was one of Samantha and Joe’s bridesmaids so when they got engaged and called us we were so excited to be a part of their day! We love it when weddings connect us to other people and we get the honor to become part of their stories too. They are planning a gorgeous wedding next year, but with Vet School rotations starting next week we wanted to get their engagement session in. And even though we’ve been shooting at Heritage Park more often lately, this place has so many spots I feel like I could do endless sessions here and never get tired of it.

Meghan and Will, thank you so much for letting Scott and I be a part of your wedding day. We have loved getting to know you better and hearing about all the handmade details going into your day! Next June can’t get here soon enough! We hope you love a few of our favorites from your shoot!
