Things didn’t quite go the way they planned. There were a few things that didn’t happen, some last minute details that threatened to cause unnecessary stress but as friends and family rallied around them those things fell away. As she sat getting prepped for this day they’d been planning for over a year, Charlene looked at me and with a big sigh said, “It’s ok, today I get to marry the man of my dreams.” And that is really what mattered in the end. Lee struggled to hold back tears as the women he’d waited for so long to marry walked down the aisle toward him. And during their first dance it’s as if no one else existed but the two of them.

This wedding was truly a celebration of their lives, families, and friends coming together. Her son made it all the way from the appalachian trail in Vermont, and his son was behind the DJ table keeping the party going. And everyone else could not help but radiate excitement that Lee & Charlene were becoming husband and wife.

Lee, the way you love Charlene was a privilege to witness and Charlene your joy was infectious. Thank you for letting Scott and I be there to document your day and give you memories to last a lifetime. We hope your 3 week honeymoon is relaxing and that you have so much fun in the Caribbean and at Disney! Here are a few highlights to enjoy on the beach!
