We always love shooting at new wedding venues and The Maridor was no exception! The historic bed and breakfast held surprises around every corner, from the gorgeous event space to the romantic garden in back. And it was decorated perfectly. Gloriosa had flowers winding up the staircase, nestled on mantles, adorning the tables, and flowing over the cross the groom’s dad built for the ceremony. Everywhere we looked there were gorgeous details to capture. Up in the bridal suite champagne was being popped and outside the trees were being draped all in preparation for this day.
But more than the venue, what made this wedding amazing was the wonderful couple. There were pictures of Will and Meghan everywhere – as kids, through their lives, graduating, and together – the property had been turned into a celebration of them. This was the day they’d been waiting for, for more than a year and it was a perfect one…besides 10 minutes of rain that is :)
We first met Meghan because she was a bridesmaid of ours and so seeing her and Will again and capturing their amazing day was extra special for us. They are the sweetest couple and this day reflected that. As they danced the night away with family and friends there was joy radiating from both their faces.
Will and Meghan, thank you so much for letting Scott and I capture these memories for you. Your wedding was so much fun and we loved being a part of it! Thank you for welcoming us in and letting us celebrate with you! Hope your island honeymoon has been wonderful and relaxing!
