Being a wedding photographer means I get to work with couples all the time. I love the art of capturing two people in love and know that is where my love of photography shines. And while I limit it mostly to weddings since that’s my sweet spot, when someone is expecting their first baby there is so much joy in capturing that moment too. So how could I say no when Becky asked me to grab some maternity pictures for her and Bradley. Then a few months later got to meet Miss Eliza at her newborn shoot. She was so tiny with a full head of red hair.

Now it’s been almost a year and her first birthday is right around the corner. I can’t believe it! So I met up with them last weekend to grab a few shots for Becky to have and also to print out for her party. She has turned in to one happy, expressive little lady and we had so much fun! And since I’ve captured her since before day one, I hope to make it a yearly tradition :)

This is the tiara Becky wore at their wedding. We got one with Eliza wearing it at her newborn session (on left) and of course recreated it for her first birthday – I think it’s such a fun photo tradition!
