This past weekend was one of those times where you are totally refreshed and utterly exhausted all at the same time. I drove up to Indianapolis, scooped up my college roommate at the airport, and we got to attend The Gospel Coalition’s Women’s Conference. It was so much fun to spend 3 days with her, and at the same time attend an amazing event. All of the speakers were wonderful, the music amazing, and the books discounted. (Needless to say, I’m glad I drove instead of flew because my suitcase would have been wayyyy overweight.)
We stayed up entirely too late each night and drank copious amounts of coffee during the day. I was moved, challenged, and humbled and loved every minute of it. Here are a few images I took with a mixture of the phone and the big camera. I may blog more later on the actual content – but I am still processing it all. It was overwhelmingly good.
There was the craziest storm in Ohio, followed by one of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve seen. I forgot how beautiful the midwest is!
I showed Esther how to use Snapchat filters and we ate all the cookie butter cookies we could handle.
In college our favorite place to eat besides CPK was Potbelly – so we went twice since neither of us lives near one!
There were over 7,200 women there!
I can’t wait for the 2018 conference! :)
P.S. If you “like” their page on Facebook you can see some highlight videos and quotes from the talks!
