Amy first noticed DeWayne across the way at church and after she joined the gym he worked at, he started to notice her too. It wasn’t until a bonfire at a friends property they were finally introduced and the rest is history. We returned to that same property to capture their engagement photos and it was such a dream. That night was one of the first times it’s actually started to feel like fall. The cool air moved in and the leaves were the brightest red I’d seen them. The views were gorgeous as we headed out of Blacksburg and down the winding roads.

From the moment we stepped out of the car, Amy and DeWayne felt like old friends. As we talked throughout the evening not only did we realize all the things we have in common but the fact that we’ve met them before at another wedding! So needless to say their session was not only full of laughter and fun we got so many amazing images. Between their chemistry and the fall colors this post may be longer than normal! I just couldn’t narrow it down – and when you see them you’ll understand :)
